This was a new recipe that I got from The Cupcake Bible. Someone wanted cupcakes for his birthday, and I happen to know he’s a huge fan of bacon – so this was the perfect excuse to try this out! The cupcakes are just a basic cake recipe with bits of bacon mixed into the batter. The frosting is made with real maple syrup, and more bacon bits sprinkled on top. Yum! These smelled so good my cat jumped up on the counter and had a sample while they were cooling. Oops!
