These were made with yellow cake, using this pan, which creates sort of large acorn-shaped cakes. I froze those and cut them in half, then they were dipped first in orange candy melts. They were put in the fridge to harden (I was impatient), then dipped just a little bit into white candy melts. Ta-da! Candy corn cakes! The purple and green Frankenstein ones are a result of me running out of orange candy melts. 🙂
